Ranger Wrestling Club members brings home two State Championship Titles

12 Members of the Ranger Wrestling club competed in the Virginia Wrestling Association's State Championship Tournament on February 27th in Richmond Virginia. 11 of the 12 wrestlers that competed placed in the top six of their weight class/division at the tournament.

On February 27th, 12 Ranger Wrestling Club members competed in the Virginia Wrestling Associations State Championships in Richmond Virginia.  11 of the 12 wrestlers placed in the top 6 in the state.  Ryan Brokaw and Kurt McHenry both won their first State Championships.  Ryan winning in the K-2nd grade division and Kurt winning in the 4th and 5th grade division.  All of the boys were able to rise to the occassion as they faced some of the states toughest competition.  Whether in victory or defeat, all of the boys represented Loudoun County and the Ranger Wrestling Club well.  Congratulations boys!  The team has two major tournaments left on its schedule, The CAWL Championships this weekend and the MD/VA State Championships the following weekend.  Good luck boys!!!  Let's bring home some CAWL and MD/VA State Championship trophies.
